About Us

Social Responsibility

Fueling our commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth

To deliver on our firm’s purpose to create positive, enduring change in the world, we have committed $2 billion to social responsibility efforts by 2030. A focal point of this commitment is growing economic opportunity to help organizations thrive, economies prosper, and people progress.

We bring this ambition to life through our pro bono projects and GSI.org programs, which tap into the best of our expertise to accelerate the impact of individuals and nonprofits around the world. We also help our colleagues turn their passion into action, serving their local communities through volunteering, giving, and fellowships.

Catalyzing our colleagues in their communities

We create opportunities for our colleagues in more than 65 countries to transform their passion into meaningful action within their local communities. In 2025, our colleagues supported 4,600 nonprofits through:

Service: Beyond pro bono consulting, we provide paid time off for volunteering, support nonprofit board service, and organize local initiatives such as annual Days of Service.
Cash and in-kind donations: We match individual donations and provide firm grants to nonprofits selected by our colleagues.
Fellowships: Consultants can take a paid leave of absence to work full-time within nonprofit organizations for 6 to 12 months, helping deliver critical projects and strengthen long-term impact.

Our impact in action: Generation

Generation graduates in Kenya

For more than a decade, we’ve partnered with Generation, the global employment nonprofit we helped found, to expand access to economic opportunity worldwide.

To date, it has supported more than 155,000 learners in building skills for in-demand roles—unlocking $2.5 billion in wages and creating pathways to meaningful employment.
